Jon Schneider is a private investor focused on early-stage renewable energy and healthcare companies. He is also an investor in and strategic advisor to several technology start-ups and has served on a number of for- and non-profit boards. His past positions include co-founder of the Solar Fuels Institute where he was a visiting scholar at Northwestern University and vice president, Energy Risk Management of Goldman Sachs, Asia. He is currently vice-chair of the board of United World College USA and represents the school on all UWC International-related matters. Jon received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
