Coleen Scott

Coleen Scott is a senior legal and policy associate and the strategic support coordinator (Africa) at Inclusive Development International. She began her career as a research associate with the organization in 2017, and subsequently shifted to her current role in supporting our policy campaigns and casework. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex. Coleen is passionate about business and human rights, corporate accountability and environmental justice. Prior to joining Inclusive Development International, Coleen spent a year studying and working at the intersection of human rights and development in Morocco. She has a range of experience volunteering with UN business and human rights initiatives, Amnesty International and grassroots Moroccan organizations. Her dissertation examined the human rights responsibilities of commercial banks in project finance.
