We support those fighting on the front lines for just and inclusive development.

Are you ready to join us?

We use a powerful advocacy model to support communities around the world to defend their rights and environment in the face of harmful business activities.

Together with our grassroots partners, we have helped stop land grabs and forced evictions in their tracks, protected thousands of acres of ancient forests from being clear-cut, and obtained multi-million-dollar compensation packages for displaced communities.

Our team consists of lawyers and advocates, financial research experts, country specialists, journalists, and community organizers of diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

Inclusive Development International values diversity on our team. We strongly encourage people of color, Indigenous Peoples, LGBTQ individuals, people with disabilities, and all qualified persons to apply for our open positions.

Our Core Values

Accordion Content

We are tenacious and daring in the defense of human rights and pursuit of corporate accountability. We pursue every feasible strategic avenue to help our community partners achieve their goals.

We conduct ourselves with professionalism and integrity, and we strive for excellence in all our work. We are committed to ensuring that our research and advocacy is always credible, compelling, and based in evidence.

We have a healthy skepticism of conventional wisdom. We regularly question our assumptions and value critical thought and ongoing learning. We create space for self-reflection in order to learn from successes and failures as we strive for greater impact.

We are accountable, first and foremost, to the communities we serve and we put their interests before any other agenda. If we make mistakes, we own them and we do what’s necessary to make amends.

We work for Inclusive Development International because we are passionate about social justice and because we recognize that we all have a responsibility to fight for those who have been socially, economically and politically marginalized, and for a system that protects and fulfills the universal rights of all.

We are confident in offering advice to partners based on our knowledge and experience. At the same time, we are humble enough to know what we don’t know and we are constantly seeking to learn from the experiences and perspectives of our civil society and community-based partners and fellow team members.

We are committed to working within and contributing to a broad-based movement for justice in the global economy. We stand in solidarity with all communities and human rights defenders on the frontlines of this struggle and we always seek to collaborate with our partners and fellow team members to advance our shared goals.
