David Pred is the executive director and a co-founder of Inclusive Development International. A global advocate and organizer for land, housing and natural resource rights and corporate accountability, David has spent the last twenty years supporting communities and grassroots movements around the world to hold governments, corporations and financial institutions accountable for land-grabs, forced displacement and related human rights violations. He has accompanied communities in Africa and Asia to negotiate reparation agreements with mining, agribusiness and financial services companies and has advocated fiercely for human rights accountability at international financial institutions and in global trade regimes.Prior to establishing Inclusive Development International, David founded and served from 2003 to 2011 as executive director of Bridges Across Borders Cambodia and oversaw its localization and transformation into Equitable Cambodia. David holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in the theory and practice of human rights from the University of Essex.
