Mariama Barry is the Africa program associate at Inclusive Development International. She leads our community engagement, case work and campaigns to hold the mining sector accountable for its human rights abuses in Guinea. Mariama is a journalist by profession, with more than 7 years of experience reporting on environmental, human rights and governance issues in the Guinean mining sector. She has previously worked as a research consultant for Human Rights Watch and with the Guinean advocacy organization Actions Mines.
